Inside Sales Representative

Primary Role:

Ponton Industries is looking to fill an open position for a talented Inside Sales Account Manager in Yorba Linda, California area. Candidate must reside in or around surrounding areas.

The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for quote and order management and maintaining customer and vendor relations. 



  • Manage and prioritize incoming requests (email and phone calls)
  • Quote and Order management
  • Specify and recommend products to customers based on customer application
  • Maximize scope of supply; recognize that a customer of one product could also purchase other items in Ponton's line of products
  • Support inside/outside sales staff with application scenarios and customer requests for applications
  • Build & maintain customer & vendor relationships through excellent customer service.



  • Bachelor degree, Optional (Mechanical / Electric Engineering is preferred)
  • 1+ years of Process Instrumentation / Complex Industrial sales experience
  • Confident; self-starter, and self-motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of computer and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly assess and understand a prospect or customer's business environment and needs
  • Project Management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Positive attitude
  • Desire to learn
